Hurricane Harvey Relief
After Hurricane Harvey Associated Crafts® & Willet Hauser® raised nearly $10,000 in relief funds. Employees, family friends, and volunteers in Winona, MN and across the nation assisted in the cause. The Phillips family, along with two other families each packed up their trucks and trailers to travel to Woodforest Church in Montgomery, TX. Here the families distributed supplies such as food, water, diapers, and pet food.
This journey from Gilbert, AZ to Montgomery, TX was made possible by the outpouring of funds in the Associated Crafts® & Willet Hauser® Help for Houston Go Fund Me Campaign. All proceeds raised went to the victims directly affected by Hurricane Harvey.
Associated Crafts® & Willet Hauser® had the honor of creating stained glass windows for Levee Park in Winona, MN. The windows feature abstract nature imagery on the front and back of the park’s two entrance columns. The arrangement of the images showcases the flora and fauna native to the region. As a special detail to the stained glass each studio artisan’s fingerprints were added to the piece as coyote prints.
Alzheimer’s is currently the largest public health threat facing the United States. More than 1,300 people are diagnosed each day. Associated Crafts® & Willet Hauser® studio donated a traveling stained glass display to the Alzheimer’s Association of Minnesota-North Dakota Chapter for the Winona Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The window depicts Winona’s Sugar Loaf Bluffs surrounded by beautiful greenery.
