Stained-Glass Preservation, Frame Repair Before and After

For many years your stained glass windows have been exposed to the elements causing deterioration. Professional studios not only work to repair that deterioration but also the best of them work ahead to prevent or reduce it from happening in the future. Associated Crafts® / Willet Hauser® use two industry innovations to accomplish this.

Associated Crafts®/Willet Hauser’s Klear-Flo® protective covering system features a fully-customizable in-frame venting system to optimize the venting needs of individual windows. It is important to know how to and be able to adjust the venting for each window. This optimizes its protection by preventing damaging heat build up and allows condensation to dry out without damaging the window.

Klear-Flo® is fully weatherproofed due not only to superior design but the use of the highest quality sealant. There are plenty of less expensive sealants but none offer the benefits of a high quality sealant such as Silpruf® or Dow Corning®. Improper protective covering installation can create more damage than protection. Choose a professional, experienced team who include the best materials and product design.

Contouring of the aluminum framing to closely match the existing architectural millwork is aesthetically pleasing by allowing the existing architecture to remain dominant. Our craftsman have mobile bending devices so the new framing can be fully customized on site. Our ability to contour is just one more reason why Klear Flo® is the highest quality and the best protective covering system available in the industry.

Our craftsmen are skilled in installing many types of protective covering. Customers often ask which one we sell. We sell the right product for the project. Below is a high-level chart outlining the pros and cons of each product. A representative can help you to choose the correct product for your windows and neighborhood.
